Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison and Austin "Chumlee" Russell won $10,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas after incorrectly answering their sixth question. The Pawn Stars cast was on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire episode that premiered October 19, 2010.
The question that cost them $8,000 (and would have won them $25,000) was, "Because of the flamboyant frills atop its skull, a recently discovered species of dinosaur was given what name by scientists?"
The possible answers were:
A: Coolosaurus
B: Glamalodon
C: Jazzoraptor
D: Mojoceratops
They used no lifelines and guessed that the answer was B: Glamalodon. Unfortunately the correct answer was D: Mojoceratops.
The Pawn Stars were then given a chance at a bonus question which would double their winnings, but they missed that one as well. The question was "By the 1950s, a company formed by the Hassenfeld brothers, Henry and Hillel, primarily sold what?"
The possible answers were:
A: Toys
B: Shoes
C: Motorcycles
D: Silverware
The stars guessed B: Shoes, but the correct answer was A: Toys. The Hassenfeld brothers' company would eventually becomes Hasbro.
In news for Pawn Stars, we may be seeing a whole new plotline for the series; Rick Harrison is getting married! The wedding between Rick and Deanna Burditt is set for July 21, 2013, and Chumlee will be the ring bearer. Congratulations Rick and Deanna!
