Yes, Buddy's sister, Lisa Gonzalez is divorced from her husband, Remigio "Remy" Gonzalez. He is Buddy's former left-hand man. He left the show in 2010 after being arrested for alleged sex assault. In May 2012, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison for aggravated sex assault.
In November 2012, Carlo's Bake Shop, the setting of Cake Boss and The Next Great Baker made it through hurricane Sandy unscathed. Buddy Valastro was even able to help provide Thanksgiving dinner to more than 500 homeless and senior citizens of New Jersey.
